That's right folks, the long awaited new album will out for sale and in your hot little hands by JUNE (so don't miss our appearance at In the House Festival June 5th to get one of the first sold copies!).  Check back on our site periodically for some song teasers that we'll be putting up as we finish tracking, mixing and mastering songs!  Recording always takes longer than you think (and takes a lot out of you) and after a couple of great sessions at our friend Ray's studio (Strait Sound), Bernie has kindly changed his kitchen into a recording studio for us to finish off the tracks in our own sweet time! He's a recording engineer extroardinaire and the rest of the band thanks him for his kitchen sacrifice for the better good of the album! This CD will have a big sound! As a fiddler, I've pushed for the orchestral violin parts, so watch out for those, as well as Bernie's amazing multi-part harmonies inspired by the creative multitracking of Les Paul and Mary Ford. And of course you'll hear those trademark, sweet guitar solos that Bernie has made the Colorifics famous for!



The album is bohemian ragtime meets swinging jazz meets beatles pop, with a hint of latin beats thrown in, but I don't want to give too much away! Just know it'll be amazing!  We will also be reprinting the old album fav's that we sold out of this summer at the Jazz Fest, so no worries, those will be available soon as well.
