After spelling each other off running the sound for the many excellent and varied performces by actual wedding guests....."don't step on my guitars.....please.." The Colorifics proceeded to rip it up with a set of their favourites and set the crowd hopping.

The Colorifics swanked it up with the Underground Circus June 10th at the Commodore in a multi media event for Sun Life Financial.
Things started off with oh...oh so quiet Colorifics tunes over dinner...."I can't hear the drums!!"
Then Circus madness with 5 collaborative Colorific/Underground Circus performances
(The Underground Circus, the highly successful brainchild of Peter Boulanger (Bernie's Brother) and Ninon Parent often perform their acrobatic acts to the Colorifics music)

Wow! the Colorifics had a blast along with Manzanita Restaurant at the Rainbow room! We ate, we played, we danced, we had delicious lemondrop martinis (in multitudes), and the lovely locals told us so many interesting stories about the history behind Powell River! My favorite part was getting onto the dance floor during Bernie's crazy guitar solo in Vista Cruiser. Eric's favorite part was undoubtedly manning the lights! The Colorifics have crawled out of the recording cave to rediscover why we love playing live music.... our fans! St. Augustines was packed and lively, and we made quite a few new friends!

Thanks for dancing along, forming conga lines and doing sing-a-longs with us! We'll be revisiting the "bass solo!" at our next gig for all those that are interested in ripping it up with us.
